Recently had a trip to Yogyakarta, Indonesia.
I wouldn't say its a trip of Ultimate Relaxation or A Holiday GetAway,
but i would rather say it as a Surprise in disguise to me
A little history about the place is that it is the smallest province of Indonesia and is located on
island of Java *you know, where the famous Starbucks JAVA chip got its' name from*
It was form on 1755 by the Dutch and then some Sultan was given the power to rule and blah blah blah.
Thats about the most i can give you about the history.
The whole place is filled with CANDI, also known as temples.
Every few kilometers, you'll see a broken down temple or a still in perfect condition one.
It is rather unique compare to what we have over here in Malaysia.
This is one of the first Candi we went to.

Inside the whole compound, there's like plenty of many small tiny ones
The second Candi we went to was the Candi Borobudur.
That was the highlight of the whole trip.
It is known that Borobudur is the world's largest Single candi
According to the locals, it has 4 levels, you have to walk from east to west in a circle to gain the knowledge of the gods ( Shiva and a few more)
According to the carving, each carving has a story
The ones i saw was the First Enlightment of Sidarta Gautama under the palm tree which is the only one i could understand from history.
The rest of the story were pretty amazing.

Imagine, every carving, every block was made by human and placed by humans
